It'd take 8 days.
After continuing to jump 1 ft per day, after a week (7 days) it'd be 7 feet up. On the next day, day 8, it'd jump 3 more feet, making it 10 feet and then, as it's at the top technichally, even if it slides down it reached the top on day 8.
Well i thin if it moves up one ft per day and it is jumping three ft per dy then on day 7 it would be 7 ft up and jump three feet to reach the top however it is also a possibility that it doesn't make it up because after all jumping level with something makes it quite difficult to land on. So perhaps it is day 8? Hard to say imo
After one day the frog makes a net increase of 1 ft, by the 7th day the frog has reached a max height of 9ft but slides down to 7th feet. By the eighth day the frog jumps 3ft (7ft-10ft) reaching the top. So it takes 8 days for the frog to reach 10ft.
Day 7 its moved to 7 feet from top, jumps 3 reaches top
It would take the frog 10 days, if there is no water in the well!

How many stories high is the dimond back at kings island
8 days. I say 10 days. Day 1, jumps 3 feet, slides back 2 feet equals 1 foot up on Day 1. Day 2, jumps 3 feet, slides back 2 feet equals 1 foot up on Day 2, plus 1 from Day 1 = 2 feet. Day 3, jumps 3 feet, slides back 2 feet equals 1 foot up on Day 3, plus 1 from Day 1 and 1 from Day 2 = 3 feet. etc. until Day 10 when his jumps total ten feet up.
28 days.oana
It would take the cat eighteen days to make it out. If it climbs up three feet and slides down two feet, then its only going up one foot a day.

48 days. The spider gains 1 Foot a day. Then on day 48, he will climb to 48, 49, and 50 and will be out of the well so he can't slide back down.
29 days, unless on the 29th day he doesn't jump right out, then it would be 30 by the description you gave. No, try28 dayshe starts the second day one foot uphe starts the third day two feet up up...he starts the 28th day 27 feet upand his jump takes him to the topwhere he is eaten by a waiting storkHee hee, nice one! Thanks for the correction Geezer
28 days. 27th day = 27 ft. 27 + 3 = 30 ft. The Kangaroo reached the top.
16 days
20 Days sounds like the obvious answer 16 days is the correct answer. The snail can go 5 feet each day... and slides back 4 each night. He will get to the 19th foot on the 15th DAY but will slide back to the 15 foot mark on the 15th NIGHT. He will climb 5 feet on the 16th day, reaching the 20 foot mark.
