No, it didn't for me. I received my Masters' Degree (in Urban and Regional Planning) from the University of Colorado. The program did not require a GRE score if the applicant had a overall GPA of 3.0 for their undergrad degree and the college that granted the undergrad degree was accredited.
Yes, I agree with the above contributor. While not trying to down play the effort behind the GRE, many colleges and universities are now indicating that the test is really not a good predictor of a students success at the graduate level. I personally know of more than a few institutions that require the test, however they pay very little attention to the results. Sounds unprofessional, but it is true.

FIU is a has a basic requirement, to graduate from FIU as an undergraduate you must have over a 2.0 GPA. Now that doesnt mean that you will have a successful graduate school program lined up for you, however, a 2.0 is the minimum requirement to graduate
