what do you mean? a girl telling a girl that she's pretty ..is normal- i hear it all the time- doesn't mean anything- could just be that they admire you! i have friends like that- 'oh you look so pretty in pink' or 'that lipstick shade looks pretty on you'...etc...if it was a girl telling a guy that he's pretty- um- that would be uber-weird- doesn't make sense really! hope it answers your q.

well I'm a girl and really they are happy inside but they act calm just not to freak the guy out but they feel really aprishated in side girls luv complements just don't go to far with it or she'll think that's just the way you are trying to say i like you and its really annoying and easy to tell so don't say stuff like you have a nice butt because it just makes you sound like a peido sorry for the odd few spellings i am a girl though and my bf complements me allot but he don't push it like my X's but he tells me off when i bag on my self but yh they pretty much die inside and blush depending on the girl she might kiss you on the check just dont go over board lol kk

If you make it a big deal it can come across as really creepy, even if you're obviously really nervous.

The best way to go about it is to just say it, don't be stupidly poetic with it, don't accompany it with flowers, don't make it a song, just look her in the eyes and come out with it like it's any other sentence. Perhaps then tell her how long you've thought this or when you first noticed.

Done right it works magic, done wrong it sounds creepy but so does everything really.
