It means that the person knows A LOT about horses. For example, if you can name all the parts of a horse, then you have horse sense. Generally, it means that the person has good common sense.
Yes, any name is a good horse name if you feel it is. Moonlight is usually a horse name for horses of dark coloring with few light colored spots...or so on.

Yes, the Comanches, like a good majority of American Indians had horses.
A horse is a gentle, loving and loyal animal. This animal is a mammal. Horses can have many different coats than others. They have: hooves, a main, a tail and more. I have something to add. This is a fairly good answer, but something is wrong: not all horses are gentle, loving, and loyal. Many horses are not at all gentle--in fact, none are before they are broke. They are definitely loving of their family/other horses, but they have to learn to love humans and most certainly do not take to us right off. Horses can be really dangerous. Even some broke ones will intentionally hurt you. But the above answer definitely sounds nice.
The Arabian horse and the Quarter horse are two totally different breeds. The Arabian horse originated from Arabia (a desert climate) and were bred for long-distance endurance and finesse. In today's world, Arabians are often used in dressage and endurance riding. They are known for being a lot more hot-headed than Quarter horses and are usually for more advanced riders. Today's Quarter Horses are mostly used as western horses and cow horses. They got their name because they are one of the fastest horses up to the quarter mile (but cannot usually run longer distances). Quarter Horses are known to be rather calm and quiet creatures and are often trained for beginner riders. There is a mix breed called a Quarab (which is a mix between an Arabian and a Quarter Horse) that takes on qualities of both breeds. These are usually bred for the Quarter Horses calm attitude and the Arabians endurance capabilities.
cowwy means that a horse is a good cow horse, good for ranch work like working with cows like it can sense when they are going to move, and can track it, it's a western term when a horse has cow sense, popular in Quarter Horses hope that helps
Horses are know for their appetites. THey are constantly eating whenever they get the chance. "Hungry as a horse" and "eat like a horse" made good similies for a person with a big appetite.

Well, a simple answer is, "A person who sits on a horse and rides it"But a detailed answer is this:(When I say it, I mean He/She)A true horse rider has a good relationship with the horses it rides. It might not necessarily have a horse of its own, but it must understand the horse nature. It should know what the horse is feeling, and how to treat it well, when to praise the horse, or when to scold the horse. It must be able to ride all sorts of horses. Or perhaps, it just rides horse because it is simply their pleasure.
Horses do not make good pets. They are large, expensive to keep and when you go out of town, you have to have someone watch them. Horses are beast of burden and are excellent for showing & riding. But they are not good pets. Dogs and cats are good pets. Treating your horse like a pet and not a horse will result in a horse with problems.
It's a horse good at reading cows and knowing what move they wil make next. They can tell when a cow is about to go left, or when it will stop, etc.
horse lover and then your favorite number obsessed with horses
Well, if you want an all-around good horse, try a Kentucky Mountain Horse, a Missouri Foxtrotter, Quarter Horse, horses like that. Some horses, however, even if they are one of those breeds, are completely horrible, and likewise for horses like Arabians. Sometimes Arabians are slow and gentle. Depends on the horse. Any breed of horse can be good tempered, calm, kind and good jumpers if properly trained. If it's a first horse you're looking for I suggest asking a more experiance horse person for help and not even bother looking at certain breeds or type.
Yes, horses can feel a mosquito land on them.
