Within the United States, you can contact the State Board of Education within the state the school existed. All records by law must be maintained. The records might be held by another institution, and the State Board of Education should have a record of where the documentation is being held.
How can I get my college transcripts if my college no longer exists?
The business school that I attended is no longer in business. I received an associates degree in business in 1988-1989. I can no longer locate the degree. How do I go about obtaining a copy of my degree. Leveria Queenlev2@aol.com
You could go to your local historical society—they keep plenty of archives. Same with the school district (if that still exists), maybe a city records building. You could also search for people who went there during that time period.
Contact the registrars office at the school you graduated from.
No such copy ability exists.
You can get a copy of your transcript by contacting the registrar's office of that school. The actual certificate is only printed once at almost every institution I know of....unfortunately. Still, it would not hurt to check with the registrar. Viper1
