If a trait is dominant, then an organisms heterozygous (hybrid) for that trait would normally show:

A) The recessive trait only

B) The dominant trait only

C) A blend of the recessive and dominant traits

D) A phenotype unlike that of either parent

B) The dominant trait only!

Reason being because heterozygous means the pair of genes are different. When this occurs, only the dominant trait is expressed.

Will a heterozygous female with hemophilia have blood that will clot normally?

Yes, because Hemophilia is recessive (if you have a normal allele, you won't have hemophilia, and heterozygous means that you have one normal and one abnormal allele).

How can alleles be?

Alleles can either be recessive or dominant. Dominant alleles produce a dominant trait which is normally seen, whereas although the recessive allele is present, the recessive trait is not normally visible. However, in cases of codominance and complete dominance the dominant trait does not completely hide the recessive trait and it can show through.

What is another name for heterozygous?

Another way to express something is heterozygous is to say it has dual alleles. There is a dominant and recessive allele. Alleles determine which traits something will have. Normally this is expressed in a single allele.

When there is a will can a company decide who the money goes to by ignoring the will in the State of California?

A company normally does not have a say in what happens to a will. It is possible for someone to decline an inheritance. And the debts have to be paid regardless of what the will says.
