I probably wouldn't ask for much because YouTube is a free website to share videos, so I think I would be making unnecessary money off of a TV show. Now if they make money off if it in anyway, I would ask for a least have a share.

No, your video must be uploaded onto YouTube before you can add any annotations to a YouTube video. It shouldn't be much of a problem however because adding annotations should hopefully only be a very small part of your video(s) and can also be done fairly quickly and can also be edited.
