Yes, she could. Surrogate motherhood involves the in vitro fertilization of another woman's ovum with a man's sperm, then implantation of that fertilized egg (usually at the blastocyte stage) into another woman's uterus. A tubal ligation would not prevent this process from being successful.
The surrogate cannot be forced to abort the child, nor can any woman. Not by another citizen. (It is unresolved whether the government inadvertantly gave themselves the right to force a woman to abort in a fuller reading of Roe v. Wade.)
A surrogate shopper could be someone who is shopping for some one else, rather than for themself. Surrogate can mean a replacement, or stand-in.
Advantages: 1. It would give you the chance to help the mother who can't carry her child for whatever reason. 2. You could get paid a lot of money(depending on the hospital). Disadvantages: 1. A potential illness could be inserted into your body. 2. 9 months of being uncomfortable. 3. Separation from the child could be difficult. 4. Depending on if your related to the mother or not, you would not be living in your house for the duration of the pregnancy, instead you would be at the hospital. 5. The parent(s) could die or become unable to care for the child, leaving you with the decision on whether or not to keep it. I know it seems like there is more disadvantages to advantages, being a surrogate can be a life-changing experience. All I want to remind is, if your planning on doing this: 1. Pray about it. Hard. 2. Consult your pastor and (or) your relatives. 3. Pray some more. Good luck:)
You could try to find surrogate mother.
You asked a difficult question and I researched it. "Babymaker's Club" is just a label put on the fact that there are meetings (I guess you could call them clubs) where some couples can't have children. They will discuss anything from artificial insemination, to having a surrogate mother (meaning another woman will carry the husband's baby for the couple.) Also it is difficult for gay people to adopt children, so this gives them more of an opportunity to adopt a child.
the husband could take another wife
Yes. They may adopt. One (or both) my employ the services of a sperm bank or donor. Otherwise, one of them could be cloned, and the cloned embryo implanted in the other. She would not be the child's genetic mother, but would be a surrogate birth mother. There may be other ways to combine the chromosomes of two women, but this would require more advanced bioengineering techniques yet.
you could watch a couple of girly movies or go out for dinner
Yes. However she would need many hormones to support that pregnancy. The older she is and the further in time away from the beginning of menopause, the more difficult.
The only matter affecting pregnancy is wether the woman has had her first period. From there, its only a matter of fertilization. Having an underdeveloped uterus could make intercourse unpleasant or complicate the birthing process however, and if all else fails a surrogate mother could be brought into the situation.
He usually was. He could construct anything and did his fellow gods many services. Only he had a couple of fights with his mother, Hera.
No. They are not the same. A surrogate is a third party who gets paid to carry the child until it is born. Surrogates are typically used because the mother is unable to do so. "Test tube babies" result from the combination of the mother's egg and the father's sperm in a laboratory setting, as opposed to inside the womb. The technical term for this is "in vitro fertilization." This is typically done when one or both of the parents have fertility problems. The embryo inserted into the surrogate is done through in vitro fertilization, but in vitro fertilized embryos could also be inserted into the mother if she is healthy enough to carry a baby to term.
