Are you sure they didn't say 6 weeks + from conception, at this stage an ultrasound is unlikely to be 10 days off unless you have a long cycle. I had a 36 day cycle and my LMP was December 17 and my EDD from that was September 23. My scan date was October 4 which turned out to be the date my son was born.
A 7 week ultrasound would be more accurate than a 13 week one especially if it agreed with your lmp. 13 week babies have plenty of room to move around and sometimes it is more difficult to measure accurately.
i would go with what the ultrasound says as it is almost 100% accurate.
Yes, ultrasounds are not Perfect for time prediction, they do get close, but are not perfect.
32 days previously
Pregnancies are always measured from your lmp so it sounds as if your ultrasound is spot on. They don't add 14 days or anything but it will be 8 weeks 5 days since you conceived

Generally a transvaginal ultrasound can spot a baby in the womb at around 4 weeks (give or take 5 days)
Conception date is based on your last ovulation cycle prior to when you didn't get your period. But this can be incorrect if you didn't conceive when you was ovulating. Alternatively you can have a ultrasound scan which will give you a conception date but this can be off by 5 days.
This is an estimate based upon size of development. Yes, you could take this to be the date of conception, if more accurate information is not available. However, this would not be conclusive proof. It is an estimate!
Somewhere around the end of March.
No 6 weeks is very early for a scan which is most likely why he would like to see you again in a weeks time.
If you are in the early stages of pregnancy &-8 weeks it will only be off by a day or two. By twelve weeks may be 3 days, 18/20 weeks 4-5 days. From then on it becomes more difficult as babies end up different sizes. Not at an early stage. Are you further on than you thought or not as far on as you thought? Give a few more details and I can tell you a bit more.
My wife told her doctor she didn't know when her last mp was, so he sent her for an ultrasound! She lied, we just wanted 2 get an early ultrasound, and it was exact 2 the day and that was at 5 weeks 4 days! Our 1st baby measured within 5 days thru the entire pregnancy, and that was as early as 8 weeks and as late as 26!
