Always remember that water moves from a high concentration to a low concentration. This is to 'even out' the concentration so it is the same. In this case, the water is going to leave the cells. They cells will appear wrinkled.

Ever notice your fingers get wrinkled when you are in water for a rather long time?

What would happen if you put liver cell in a hyptonic solution?

If an animal cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, there will be a net movement of water into the cell and it will eventually burst. If an animal cell is placed in a hypertonic solution, there will be a net movement of water out of the cell and it will shrink.

If a plant cell is put into a concentrated sugar solution what will happen?

Those animal cells placed in pure water will swell but plant cells are restricted by their cells walls. If place in a solution high in sugar (or even salt), both cells will shrink in a process called crenation (shriveling).

What will happen if an amoeba is placed in a solution that is less concentrated than its cytoplasm?

I believe the solution would be considered hypotonic. in which case the amoeba would let water (H2O) out of its body to regulate the solute concentration (to make it equal)

Why does a plant cell lose water by osmosis when put in a concentrated solution?

Not just plant cells, all cells with semi-permeable membranes loose water when placed in a more highly concentrated solution.
