when an animal cell is placed in a concentrated or diloute solution, it soakes up the water but because animal cell do not have cell walls like plant cells they will eventually burst.

∙ 6y agoAlways remember that water moves from a high concentration to a low concentration. This is to 'even out' the concentration so it is the same. In this case, the water is going to leave the cells. They cells will appear wrinkled.
