First of all. There is no doubt about the reality of anti matter. Anti matter is a fact. 2 examples where we have spotted anti matter, or anti particles. In CERN's LHC (large hadron collider) the scientist spotted a antiparticle after the collision of the particles. We have reached the conclusion: When matter is created there is also created anti matter. The problem is that when this particle, anti particle pair is created, the particles instantly annihilates each other turning them selves into energy in the form of light. A second example is when lightning strikes. Through the observation of gamma radiation emmitted when lightning strikes we have reached the conclusion that a anti particle has to be created.

Today we even use anti particles to detect cancer and even remove tumors from the human body. I don't have enough knowledge to give you have detailed explaination on how they do this. But if you do a little research on the internet im sure you will find more information on the subject.

Edit: And no, anti matter will not "only" excist within matter. Because when matter meets anti matter it annihilates into pure energy, meaning that matter and anti matter can't excist together in that way.

What is the only concept in the universe that cannot be truly classified as a form of matter?

Anti- Matter

What is the difference between anti matter and dark matter?

Antimatter is actually matter that can be considered going back in time. Negative matter is matter that has negative gravity properties. In other words, Negative matter repels things. Negative matter is also theoretical, not proven. Antimatter has been (and is being) made.

Which state of matter exists only at high temperatures that are found in the sun and in lightning bolts?

Plasmas

Why is there only matter not anti matter?

They are mirror images of the other: protons have a certain weight and are positively charged, anti-protons have the same weight but are negatively charged. Antimatter is just matter with an opposite charge.

Is there infinite matter in the universe?

No. The universe CONTAINS matter. While space is boundless, it will always be greater than ANY and ALL matter. There is no proof that matter exists throughout the boundlesness of space, we only know we can see it in every direction we look. Even the most distant reaches of space as viewed by our most powerful telescopes are but an ifinitely small drop in the bucket of BOUNDLESNESS. Another way to see it is If we were an all powerful observer of ALL that exists, we could see that there is in fact an "ALL THAT EXISTS" Logic dictates that when speaking of "SOMETHING" (matter) each something can be given a number (EVEN if is is a number given to the subatomic particles that comprise each individual atom) There WOULD come a time when ALL were numbered! Since matter cannot be created (turning NOTHING into SOMETHING) nor destroyed (turning SOMETHING into NOTHING) therefore matter is eternal is the default position. That matter can be changed into energy and energy into matter does not refute the position that matter is finite. It simply denotes that every step further into the subatomic level or factor in that energy can change to matter and matter can be converted to energy is one more step that leads to the conclusion that ALL that exists is a finite.

What is something that has no science matter?

The absence of matter exists only in a vacuum. Modern science has revealed the exists of anti-matter. However, it could be debated on whether anti-matter is actually considered a form of matter, or the exact opposite of matter.

What was destroyed within the first seconds after the big bang?

Virtually all matter and anti-matter were annihilated shortly after the universe started expanding. Only a fraction of a percent of all matter survived that annihilation, and virtually no anti-matter.

What actually is present in vacuum?

A vacuum consist of anti-matter; the opposite of matter...matter is something and anti-matter is nothing. When something is added to the vacuum the anti-matter is displaced and only matter will now remains. If you were made out of anti-matter then your observable results would be the opposite. Matter and anti-matter cannot exist in the same space; only one of the two can exist in any place at any one time. When you remove matter from a space the only thing that can exisist in that space is anti-matter!

Are elements matter?

Yes. not only elements all particle in the universe are matter. From Sambit Pal India. *********************** Anti particles are not matter they are anti-matter.

What phase of matter exists naturally only in stars?

plasma

Is it true or false that there are only two types of matter in the world?

True. Matter and anti-matter

Why cant you store anti matter?

As soon as anti-matter comes in contact with matter, the two annihilate. As such, placing anti-matter into any container made of matter would result in both being annihilated. The only way to maintain anti-matter for any length of time is to keep it isolated from matter. Magnetic fields can do this for a short time, but invevitably the anti-matter and the matter meet each other.

Why are cells so inportant?

ALL life exists only within cells. Viruses are not living, and can act only within cells.
