It's according to where the clog occurs. If it is in one or more of the arteries that are feeding blood to the heart you will have a heart attack.

What can happen is DEATH. If treated within a very short while, (normally with Heparin) which is called a "clot buster") and then followed up with an angioplasty and/or one or more stints, you may only suffer a certain amount of dead heart tissue. Your lifestyle will definitly change.

What effect does coagulation has on health?

Coagulation is the process of blood forming clots. Blood that is essentially too "thick" may form clots within the body leading to a stroke, heart attack, or blood clots in places like the lungs or legs. If a patient is put on an anti-coagulant or "blood-thinner" it reduces the time in which the blood coagulates thus helping to prevent these clots.
