Provided you have permission to drive the vehicle (that is, you didn't steal it, or otherwise "borrow" it) you should be ok. Insurance policies in most jusrisdictions - perhaps all - are required to cover occassional drivers, and it should make no difference who owns the vehicle, provided it is legally plated.
Keep in mind that if you are pulled over for something really stupid like drunken driving, or racing, the vehicle could be impounded at great expense to you or the owner.
This happened to me over the summer. Note that I live in Virginia. The car was in my brother's name and I drove it. We got the car registered before our court day and came to court with the registration in hand and we were let go.
yep u can hope this helped. In most states if you are over the age of 18, it is the car that is insured, not the driver. When pulled over, the police ask to see proof of car insurance, not person insurance.
i got pulled over for it. it needs to be DOT approved and be registered and licesensed
You will be pulled over and ticketed for no license plate. (registration is required for licensing)
They were arrested
pulled
... You've never accidentally pulled your hair out before? Seriously? Nothing's gonna happen. It'll grow back.
Then neither of them would win
Absolutely. You are responsible for making sure the vehicle that you are driving is insured. It does not make any difference that you have other car insurance or even that the owner of the vehicle has other insurance. If there is not insurance on the vehicle you are driving then you are guilty.
because your machine is registered, and insured in AZ, it SHOULD be recognized as being a plated, street legal vehicle. The builder of the snowmobile turned into a reverse trike had to sell it to his brother, have his brother register it in another state as a special vehicle, therefore getting a title, then bring it to the builder and selling it back..lol..where there is a will there is a way.
You get pulled over my the police and get ticketed.
your car would get inpounded and you would have to go to court for switching plates think its just a fine going threw it right now
