Ive asked this question myself. In short, I think it's just that coal takes hundreds of millions years to create where a tree may only take 50 yrs. btw another reason why i dont understand why its called nonrenewable is that ppl call it dead sun as in sun compressed or wateva
Renewable, it literally grows on trees! (and other plants)
nonrenewable resoses are fossil fules and renewable reaoses are trees
trees,plants,animals,soil,most is water
Yes, but it often takes them a long time to regrow, meaning they are not as renewable and readily available as other resources, such as sunlight or wind.
Copper is not a renewable rescource because it is not easaly made like trees and plants are
renewable Wood is renewable because you can plant more trees to grow more trees for wood.
trees are renewable because people r planting trees evry day (:
Renewable energy (solar, wind, water, hydro, tidal and wave, geothermal, ocean thermal, biomass and biofuel). Trees and plants that can be grown as fast as we use them.
the living (humans, trees, animals, plants etc...)
Coal deposits were formed largely from swamp plants, trees, club mosses, and ferns, that inhabited the Permian landscape 300 million years ago (quite some time before the dinosaurs). There were no grasses or flowering plants back then.
Quick growing trees that can be planted, grown and harvested are renewable. Old trees, hundreds of years old, are not renewable.
Trees are a renewable resource that needs to be managed for it to be sustainable. Their are many responsible people and companies that plant more trees than they cut down. As long as this continues, trees will be a renewable resource.
