Generally the pressure in the tank air bladder should be 2 psi below the water pressure switch kick in (pump turn on) point. In this example of 48 to 68 Lbs the air bladder pressure should be 46 psi. This pressure should be measured with the tank empty of water, that is to say NO water pressure applied. NEVER over pressurize the air bladder - it would be better to under pressurize if in doubt. Some tank manufacturers may recommend a different PSI differential so check with the tank literature or the manufacturer.

Explain why dams on deep lakes should be thicker at the bottom than near the top?

Water pressure increases with depth. So in a deep lake the bottom of the damn needs to be thicker to accommodate the greater water pressure.

Is there more pressure at the bottom of a bathtub of water 30cm deep or at a bottom of a pitcher of water 35cm deep?

There would be more pressure at the bottom of a pitcher of water 35cm deep. +++ To explain, the pressure is a function purely of depth, not volume.

Does pressure increase or decrease in deep water?

Pressure increases as depth increases.

How deep in water is 10atm of pressure?

Every 10 meters deep, the pressure increases by one atmosphere, approximately. Therefore, at 90 meters depth you would have, approximately, a pressure of 10 atm. Why do body of fishes burst when they are taken out from deep inside the sea?

This is due to pressure. Since deep sea environment has tremendous pressure, fishes living in this area have internal pressure that can counter this pressure. If taken out, their internal pressure will cause them to burst since their is no more outside pressure that can counter it, the system is imbalanced.

Where is air pressure densest?

How much air should be put in a deep well bladder tank?

The air charge in a bladder tank should be 2 PSI below the pressure switch ON setting. In other words if the pressure switch is a 30-50, then the tank air should be 28. -If the pressure switch is the higher 40-60, then the tank air is 38. These tanks are all charged at the top and you can check air pressure there also.
