If flonase and Claritin don't work for allergies what might I am in pain so could it be something other than allergies?

What kind of pain are you experiencing? Headaches, nasal, temple, eye, tooth and jaw pain can all be symptoms of a sinus infection. Sometimes these can be aggravated/caused by the use of prescription/OTC nasal sprays and medications. You can try a neti pot or a sinus rinse such as Neil Med, a brand name solution for irrigating the nasal passages. Talk to your PMD for a diagnosis, on rare occasions the use of an antibiotic will be needed for a bacterial sinus infection.
