Children shouldn't lie to adults because honestly, it is ok to inform someone older than you that something is going on in your life whether it be good or bad. Believe me most grownups do care and want to help and be there for you. Wheather you need emotional, mental, or just a simple ear they want to be helpful.
In my personal opinion sometimes in a certain situation and for the persons sake it is necessary to lie to a child. This has to be understood kids take almost eveything to heart and believe so much even if something is imaginary or not.
Perfect example is when I was about six years old my cat was kicked out of the house because I now know he used to poop under my mothers bed. The cat one day made her so mad she took him outdside, and let him run away into the open world. Once I arrived home from school I was calling my cat and couldn't find him anywhere. I stated "Mom have you seen Lucky?" she said "No he must've ran away, but I'm sure he will return. Sadly, after two weeks I figured out the horrible truth that Lucky wasn't returning I cried day and night for a week.
Now, my whole point in the story was to show you how children can be very dramatic in some cases like mine.

listen i made this quetion and i dont think udults should lie to children. im so sorry about your cat but next time you get a cat buy a litter box. and when you buy one, put the cat in th litter box every day for three days. then the cat will know were to use the bussniss.
