It's obvious he's angry, perhaps hurt and you are no longer going together and he wants to move on with his life. He probably wants to forget the past relationship with you and your belongings may remind him of some sad and bitter moments or, there is a possibility he feels sad about the whole split up. When you left you should have taken everything you own with you and things you couldn't store at your new place you should have stored at your parents or a friends place. If you left your belongings too long at his place and he kept asking you to come and get it and you never bothered to take the time then he gave it to Goodwill and now you're out of luck. Your only hope is to find out where he took it and see if you can get your things back.
