Anyone can contest a divorce. Just because a divorce is contested does not mean a divorce will not be granted, it just means it is going to be a longer and more expensive process.

How do you prove your husband and you were still married at his time of death?

If you have a marriage certificate, that is your proof. If someone is contesting this, it is up to them to produce divorce documents. Even if you were in the process of getting a divorce at the husband's time of death, if there was no divorce decree, there was not yet a divorce.

A married man who isn't a christian has an affair his wife is a christian an she decides to stay married to him then the man becomes a christian an then the wife decides she wants a divorce can she?

No she cannot get a scriptural divorce after she has already taken back her husband. They are "one flesh" again so if she gets a legal divorce and marries someone else, she commits adultery. If she wanted a scriptural divorce, she could've divorced him after he committed adultery and not "forgiven" him and taken him back.

What case will my husband file if he himself committed adultery?

Can a wife charge a husband with desertion if she cheated on him?

No, a wife can not have her husband charged with desertion if she cheated on him. Adultery is grounds for separation and divorce.

What document can protect you and your kids if your husband decides to committ adultery more than once?

A divorce should do it.

What if the husband has a case for adultery can he still file for divorce?

He can be hit with Paternity and Child Support. Very few states (I cannot think of any) view "adultery" as a criminal offense. "Adultery" as grounds for divorce is not relevant any longer, as most states have a "no fault" divorce statute, which means either party can divorce the other at will without a court hearing.

Did a husband get stoned for cheating on his wife in the Old Testament?

I do not think so. The bible is rather sexist to say the least.Answer:Leviticus 20:10 - The man who commits adultery with another man's wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death. [NKJV]

What is case shall be file if your husband have a mistress?

Adultery & Concubinage [Art. 333-334]

Is adultry a crime in Texas?

Adultery is adultery, I don't think there's some kind of law when it comes to committing adultery. Adultery is sleeping with another person who is not your husband or wife. Adultery always includes at least one married person. Sex between unmarried consenting adults is fornication. Cheating on a person you are dating is just cheating, NOT adultery . Adultery is not a criminal offense, but is grounds for the Civil action of Divorce.

Can judge give release to marry as soon as you got divorce?

You need to check your specific state's laws, but I know in some states if the divorce was granted on the grounds of adultery, and the 'other woman' is named in the divorce papers, then the husband cannot marry the other woman for at least 30 days after the divorce. If he does, then that marriage is not legal. The same applies if the husband files for divorce on the gounds of adultery, as well. But if the divorce was filed and granted on other grounds, then you are free to remarry as soon as you obtain your new marriage license.

Can a widowed Jehovah witness remarry?

Jesus tells us in Mark 10:10-12 - "When again in the house the disciples began to question him concerning this. And he said to them: "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, and if ever a woman, after divorcing her husband, marries another, she commits adultery."However, this statement is qualified by the principle found in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9, where he shows that divorce is wrong "except on the ground of fornication."So if she has Scriptural grounds for divorce, she is Scripturally free to remarry.
