A vampire would never bite a zombie, they are the walking dead, and a vampire feeds off of the blood of the living. Walking dead means no blood flowing, means no meal for a vampire, means pointless to try and feed off of. That would be like me becoming a vegetarian, there's no nutrition in that.
The term is redundant as zombies and vampires occupy the same continuum. A vampire is a zombie that is able to perpetuate and sometimes even repair itself through consumption of blood and life-force. A zombie may have an inclination towards this ability but (for some reason) cannot effect it and rots away.
