do something for her that really proves your love for her. show her how much you care even if she laugh. solid relationships are built off of friendships to begin with.
ok if you love her then say it to her face, I'm only being blunt here so just say it to her physically and never do it through a friend because that's a really dumb way to do it. if you say it to her face and if she laughs at you still then she doesn't love you back dude so do not keep trying to get her to love you...it won't work like that...

With all the 'story' here, it sounds like it's not very serious. I certainly wouldn't take a "I LOVE YOU" message seriously at all if the person didn't care enough to tell me to my face.
