Home pregnancy tests work by the detection of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a the test subjects urine. If you test positive from a pregnancy test you are most likely pregnant (they are over 97% accurate). However, there is a low false positive rate and that could be the case in this instance.

If it has been more than 14 days since you had the sexual intercourse that you want to see made you pregnant then simply take another test, or see your doctor for a blood test.

In the event the second test shows you are not pregnant you could have simply not been pregnant and had a false positive, or miscarried a very early pregnancy.

If you are trying to get pregnant, miscarriage of a pregnancy isn't uncommon, and while it is discouraging it does not mean you will continue to have problems getting and staying pregnant. Talk about this with your physician, if you are worried or concerned about it.

If you are not wanting to be pregnant and you don't know what to do to prevent an unwanted pregnancy your health professional can advise you on that as well.

Is it possible to be pregnant if you have most of the symptoms but still get your period on time although it is lighter than usual?

If you have symptoms of EARLY pregnancy and are seeing SLIGHT bleeding you may have "implantation bleeding". This is caused by the fertilized egg becoming implanted in the wall of the uterus in very early pregnancy. Take a simple, cheap do-it-yourself pregnancy test bought at the drug store. Follow the directions and they are very accurate. If you are pregnant, then God bless you and your child!

Does it mean you are pregnant if you spot lots of brown blood?

If taking two pregnancy test were positive but 3 were negative can you still be pregnant?

Get yourself to a clinic and take a proper test. The home preggo tests are not always to be trusted, especially if they say negative.

If you take a pregnancy test and its positive but you have no pregnancy symptoms are you still pregnant?

Yes, not everybody gets symptoms, we are all different, however I don't feel your ready for a child, you need to finish school yourself first, and pay a little more attention in grammar/english.

How can you tell you pregnant while on the implant?

The same way you'd know if you were pregnant normally: your period completely stops or you test positive on a pregnancy test. Pregnancy is not visually apparent approximately until the third month. Implanon is extremely effective with a 1% failure rate, according to Planned Parenthood. I would recommend always using a condom with a partner, even with Implanon birth control, to eliminate any possible birth control failure and to protect yourself from STD's.

Can you feel your stomach flutter when your 3 months pregnant?

If you can't tell for yourself, a pregnancy test can.

What is bleeding during early pregnancy?

I had bleeding very early in my pregnancy. I went to the ER and they done a routine ultrasound and it showed that i was pregnant with twins. It's very possible that it's implantation bleeding. ALOT of pregnant women experience bleeding and its completely normal. If you begin to pass clots, then i'd really worry. I'm currently 20 weeks with my twins and just experienced bleeding again and really got worried, but everything was fine. Some women bleed their whole pregnancies!

You have been trying to get pregnant today you were supposed to get your period but only got some spotting you do have symptoms of a period coming the achy back etc could you still be pregnant?

I am in the exact same situation. I hope the following info will be useful: About 25% of all pregnant women have some bleeding or spotting in the first three months of pregnancy. Many women mistake this bleeding for their period and underestimate their due dates by a month or so. The question to ask yourself is "Is this bleeding exactly the same as my usual period? Is it at the same time of the month, the same number of days? am I using the same number of pads or tampons?" Again, the more regular your periods are, the more reliable a sign of pregnancy any noticed changes will be. Having said this, the bleeding you experienced does not necessarily mean you are not pregnant. At this stage, if you're about 2 weeks after ovulation, you can do a home pregnancy test and levels of HCG should show up.

Every since I have became pregnant my relationship has been going down hill What can I do anything would help thanks?

Pregnancy takes a toll on your body and mind. Be true to who you are, take care of yourself. Stay positive and supportive of your partner.

Does Mirena prevent pregnancy?

yes...happened to me...inform yourself and do not have it pulled justn because doc says so... While I'm sorry for the loss of the person who answered earlier, it's important to understand the significant risks to the life and health of a woman who chooses to continue a pregnancy with the IUD in place. Informing yourself is key, as she wrote.
