That depends on how hot the water is in the cup. Use the thermometer to measure it and see.
The cold lemonade cool the temperature of the plastic cup including the outer side of it. Thereby lowering the amount of water the air can contain, resulting in water condensating - attaching to the cup.

The answer to your question depends on the temperature of the water relative to the temperature around the cup. I wouldn't bank on more than 2-3 minutes.
A cup of boiling water since it has higher temperature. Note that heat transfer depends more on the temperature.
Plastic is an insulator. but most of the paper is not insulated, because the paper in general contains water, although the content is very low, but enough to pass current, but there also is a special insulation paper, that is on the special purpose. so in dry conditions, and the cup has no water, a plastic cup is a better insulator than a paper cup.
Temperature can be measured with a thermometer.

You're talking about holding the temperature of the water, right? As far as containing the liquid, they're about equal...but a styrofoam or double-wall plastic cup would hold temp better than a glass cup which would work better than a single-wall plastic cup.

Room temperature is different in every room so I cant tell you what it is but I can tell you how to find out! Take any thermometer or a tool that measures heat (in celsius for your matter) and take a cup of water. Let the water sit for an hour inside the room that you find out the room temperature. Then put your thermometer in it and see what it measures to :) 20 degrees celcius

The thin plastic cup is a poor insulator.
metal cup because it has insulation
Because it is more accurate.
