If i wanted to find a record of the i.p. address to prove it was or was not at a particular website were would i look?

On Windows:
Press Win+R; a text box will open. Type in "cmd" and press Enter. A Black box will appear. Type in "ping website.com", and press enter. An IP Address will appear below as it pings website.com
On Mac/Linux:
Find the terminal app. On mac, it's in /Applications/Utilities/. On Linux, it should be under "Utilities" or "System". A box will appear. Type in "ping website.com", and press enter. An IP Address will appear below as it pings website.com

Usually the "website" field is not required to submit a comment to a blog. If you do not have one, you can just enter www.yahoo.com
