The answer to this depends on several factors. One of them is what the custody papers that your parents agreed to when they divorced and what they say. Both are bound by this agreement and to change them means going before a judge in family court. The judge will listen to what you have to say, but may not decide in your favor. It is up to him to make sure you are in the best possible place. Your age may or may not be a factor in his decision and how you feel may be taken into account.
If you want to live with your mom you can choose don't let your dad choose for you because he will not give you a choice he will tell you your living with me and that's that take it from me my mom and dad are divorces to its not nice.
I'm not an expert or anything but you should be able to go move in with your dad, but in Texas you have to be over 12 to choose where you live. Your mom shouldn't be doing that YOU choose where YOU want to live as long as YOUR happy.:)
Tell them how you feel. Unfortunately a child below 18 is not allowed to choose for themselves.
you are 16 dad has custody you want to live with your mom Okay ^^^ I want to know can I go live with my mom I am 16 and my dad has custody
If you have a responsible adult relative you prefer, the court should listen to your wishes at that age.
Since she's the one with guardianship, no; however you can have guardianship transferred to him...
The relative has to take custody, you can't say that you want to live with them.
well just go to court and its going to be hard and you will need 5 or more people that have your back but if that's what you want you have to try no matter if its going to be easy or hard
will yes i tink but you would have to go in court and legale stuff like that witchcould take a while or if your dad gives you permmtion to live with your mom.hop i helped :D
In most states you have to be 18 to choose so it depends on where you live.
it depends on who takes care of you the best like i want to live with my dad but its because i lived with my mom for 10 years and i miss him but i would choose dad because they aren't controll freaks or overprotective
If its okay with your mom and dad if not you have to go to court
