In my experience I was on the shot for atleast 3years and I never had a normal period either. In fact I didn't have a period at all. You may just be having your period and it has not been normal so I think you need to go to the doctor.

Depo generally diminishes and then does away with a woman's period. Afetr about a year, a lot of women no longer have a period. It can be confusing, though, so if you feel like you're experiencing symptoms of pregnancy, make sure you see a dr. However, not having a period on deop is normal.
