If in your iTunes library you see the word burn you can connect your mp3 player to your computer and click on burn and the music would then go to your mp3 player?

no "Burn" means to save files to a disk
Are you on windows?
If you are then do it like this
Find your iTunes file (usually in music)
Go into the music you want to put on
Then open your mp3 file separately
and drag and drop the music
the music will be in m4a format so you will probably need something to convert
them
