Conspiracy theories aside - the 'Govt' does not produce cigarettes or put chemicals in the ones produced. Legal marijuana production and sale would be an entirely different situation to that of tobacco. For instance, its not illegal to grow tobacco for private consumption in this country, but its hard to grow and impractical for most people. If marijuana was similarly legal, most people would simply grow it themselves at home or buy from friends that are better gardeners.

There is no way someone can answer this and be correct, but i believe that it will become legal some day. It probably wont be completely legalized though, hopefully just decriminalized. Marijuana is something that the government wont be able to completely control, so they probably would not want to completely legalize it in America.

Marijuana really doesnt do any permanent damage it just intoxicates some of your neurons but through time they get back to normal again.
