No. The emergency brake uses the same brakes. It'll be equally ineffective.
dont slam but push on the brake and do not turn this will make you spin out of control and get hurt even more.
remain calm and continue driving in the same lane. Begin to apply the manual emergency brake with your hand, lightly at first to determine the strength. You dont want to lock up the brakes, so apply the emergency brakes in spurts and make your way to the side of the road.
you dont you bleed and adjust the brakes
If you've applied your emergency brake because you were on a hill, and you notice after you start driving the brakes paddle has alot more give or they dont seem to apply correctly.Then..Put the van in reverse and press the brakes harder then normal a few times going backwards, this should readjust the braking system in your back tires. And you should notice the original amount of tension when you press on the brakes.
I have had bikes with disk and regular brake pads. Disk brakes dont squeak like regular brake pads and stop you much shorter. This is why disk brakes are more expensive.
if you slam on the brakes hard then the wheels dont lock up
Check the brake light fuse first. Then check for a bad brake light switch at the brake pedal.
they stop the vehicle when you press the brake pedal so you dont kill yourself
you dont need to. just put in park
It depends which cable is broken. If the main cable is broken under the truck, the brakes should release on their own. If the brakes dont release, the cables are frozen from rust and need to be replaced. If the release cable from the handle to pedal assemdly is broken reach under the dash above the pedal and find the small release arm. Pull the arm toward you [ the rear of vehicle ] and the emergency brake pedal will release.
if you dont know you should not attempt it.is it worth your life????
are u sure u dont have air brakes Even if he has air brakes, there is still hydraulic fluid in the system.
