the ugly one
In the early sixties their nicknames were John- "The Witty One"George- "The Quiet One"Paul- "The Cute One"Ringo- "The Funny One"
yes and no. before the beatles john had a band called the Quarrymen, with other people. then Paul joined that and after him George. Ringo was the only official one to join a the band when it was named The Beatles. paul wasn't the second one to join the quarrymen either, but he was the second beatle to join the quarrymen.
Ringo StarrPaul McCartneyRingo was best known for wearing alot of rings. In the movie "Yellow Submarine" Ringo befriends the nowhere man.Paul was one of the lead singers. After the Beatles, Paul formed a band called "Wings".
Personally, I think in the 60s it was Paul McCartney. But that is my own choice. They all have certin features that make them each cute in their own way! For me I think it would be 1. Paul McCartney 2. George Harrison 3. John Lennon 4. Ringo Starr but my all time favorite beatle is soooo George Harrison <3
No Ringo Starr is not a knight he is a musician Last year he didn't make the Queen's list although Paul has been pushing for him. So far Paul is still the only one of the Beatles knighted (1997)
I saw them both perform together on Ringo's 70th birthday - Ringo did a show at Radio City Music Hall on his 70th birthday last year and Paul came out to play The Beatles song Birthday with him from the Beatles White Album. It was one of the highlights of my life !!!!
Yellow Submarine was the first number one beatles song without John or paul on vocals, it featured Ringo Starr, the drummer singing a song written by Paul. The only other songs by not paul or john that made it to number one were "Something" and "For You Blue" by George Harrison
In the accompanying image (the cover of the Beatles for Sale album), left to right is: George Harrison (lead guitar), John Lennon (rhythm guitar), Ringo Starr (drums) and Paul McCartney (bass).
THE BEATLES john Lennon paul McCartney george harrison Ringo Starr (pete best, haha, the unknown fifth beatle he was the drummer before Ringo s. and is on one of their albums.)
John was the one who wanted to make a band so he was the one who started it. Then Paul seen John preform and wanted to join. With that Paul brought along George. So Ringo was the last one to join.
Ringo is the only one who knows for certain.
Ringo was the member of a competing local group, but when the Beatles, then the quarrymen needed a stand in drummer he filled in. So when the Beatles were discovered the label said their drummer Pete best wouldn't work and John, Paul, and George agreed and so Ringo become the drummer. Bonus tidbit, Ringo's nickname came from the fact that he always wore rings on his fingers so he got the nickname.
