Probably not. If most people spent there time looking on all of the forums, we would probably have so much more unanswered questions.
Anyone can answer questions. Answers are often a collaborative effort.
This cannot be answered before a couple of other questions are answered first: - amount of what (money, work, effort)? - what kind of groups?
We are building a Q&A knowledge database. If a question is answered within 2 minutes or 2 weeks makes no difference. We are providing the answer for all of those who have that quandary in the future. Other Q&A sites expire their questions. What then happens? The questions gets asked another way and time is wasted answering the same questions over and over again. On WA we can merge these questions into already-answered questions which saves lots of wasted effort. The alternate wording concept is a strength of WA. As more and more different wordings are asked question volume will naturally start to ease up as people start to arrive at pre-answered questions more and more. That is the potential WA holds as the ultimate source for instant answers. Someone who has the answer may turn up anytime.
What fun would that be for me if there were no spelling errors to correct? (I'm the Supervisor of the Grammar Spelling and Punctuation section!)
If you wish to complain about how you feel about WikiAnswers, you can always use the Contributor Forum. But given how much effort you would have to expend on doing that and that it would have an adverse effect of making Supervisors less interested in helping you, it is not necessarily a wise move.
Buddhism has no "Creator" god and no creation myth like Christianity. Buddha felt that questions that cannot be answered and who's answer, if ever determined, would not affect anyones life are unimportant. Time and effort spent resolving such questions is better spent in improving one's life against the measures expressed in the Eightfold Path.
what are you guys talking about i don't understand this i asked a question and you guys are not answering it right what's the meaning of that?.
You can look under Question History to see who answered first. However, WikiAnswers is a collaborative effort, so an answer may be edited by several persons.
Everyone who uses the site it's a collaborative effort by all.
Answering that would take too much effort. effect affect offers offing effuse
What would be the point ! The purpose of this forum is for people to ask questions the need answers to - not to post questions they already know the answer ! It's just wasting your time - and effort !
Great question! Everywhere, there will be some people who don't care to do anything with quality. Other people seemingly think it is "fun" to vandalize-- unless it happens on a question they ask. But for the most part, the majority of people give their honest effort to give a good answer.
