Yes, this is your party and you can invite who ever you want. Just let your friends that don't get along know that there will be no fighting for one night because it is your birthday.

Believe it or not, when you actually talk to your parents calmly they can be really understanding :) I discovered that a couple years ago.Anyways, invite your church friends, and your school friends and then tell them who will be there and that this is your day and they need to be nice to your other friends if they are to come, and tell the same to your church friends. It's your birthday, you should be able to hang out with both groups without conflict, and if they really like you and respect you they will understand and be on their best behaviour for you. If not, they aren't that great of friends :/And talk to your mom if you don't feel comfortable with the option of standing up to your friends and saying that they need to get along for a day. Honestly, talk to her and tell her that if you invite both groups a big fight is likely to happen, with you caught in between.I invited both my church friends and school friends to my party this year, thinking there would be conflicts because they strongly dislike each other just like your friends, but they got along fine and everything worked out nicely :) It may work out better than you think.
