When your question has been removed from the unanswered list that means someone has answered your question.
You don't know if someone opened a question. If the question is not about a celebrity or other well known person, the question is not allowed. Such questions are removed from the site.

If you ask and question and it is not answered for a while it will go to the queue whereby it will be answered by someone who knows the answer.

This question can only be answered if you are talking about someone specific. If you are with someone you wouldn't have to question it and you would be happy.

Provided you're not removing a good answer - it should be okay. Blanking - is removing a perfectly good answer completely and leaving it empty. If you're removing an obviously wrong answer, that should be fine. We supervisors will usually look through the history of the question before chastising someone for blanking.
