If the Jewish Historian Josephus wrote about Jesus being the Christ then why won't the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah?

OK, firstly: Josephus made one reference to someone he called 'christos/chrestus'. And almost every single historian has declared it a forgery added later.
Secondly: that's like me demanding to know why Christians don't follow Mohammed even though Christian historians have mentioned Mohammed. Jesus is irrelevant to Judaism; Judaism was a complete religion thousands of years *before* Jesus was even born. Jesus added nothing to the religion. Nothing.
Thirdly: Judaism came up with the idea of 'maschiach' (anointed). To qualify as the Jewish messiah, a man must fulfill all of the 23 Jewish messianic prophecies *before* he dies.
Jesus did not fulfill any.
Fourthly: Worshiping Jesus (or any human) is idolatry for Jews. We also do not accept that G-d would take human form.
It's really time, after more than 2000 years, that Christianity stopped trying to get Jews to worship Christ. Our religion was there first, we don't need to add Christian beliefs to it, and we're not going to.
