People believe in god not because they can not comprehend scientific theories. They believe in god because our existence is super natural. Who ever or whatever created our existence, did not come from what is considered our dimension. But of another realm. An event can not occur without time. Time can not exist without matter. Before the big bang, there was nothing. There for there was no time. There for there was no event. nor could an event ever happen. Think of it this way, I robot can not build itself. It has to be built by something of another existence. The universe can not create itself, it has to be created by something of another existence in another realm. Thus you have god.

Actually god came a LONG way after the big bang, he was only invented about 2,000 years ago by a certain section of world population...by the way you cant all be right about your 'gods' -unless you think that Jesus and god sit along side ...vishnu and some totem poles or whatever other religions have god and believe in them.

We are at the moment (believe it or not) living in an explosion, the beginning of which was the BIg Bang, and the ending of which nobody knows. what we do know is that we are traveling through this explosion at the speed of light, when we are not moving believe it or not. Before time began everything that we know of and matter period was concentrated into a densely packed size of...stuff.

The closest analogy I can give you to explain and visualise the point is this. Have you ever seen a testing car crash on TV in slow motion shot with a super fast camera? well look what happens to all the glass from the headlights, the windscreen/shield, side windows. They were all part of a single entity (the car) but once enough energy acted on the car (the sudden stop into the wall!)

and the resulting reaction (explosion of all the shards of glass ect) were sent out on a predetermined trajectory through space time...if you can imagine the car as everything that the contents of the building blocks of the universe (space time) needed to form

well Im probably loosing you now....so that's the problem you see, the ones who don't have the intellect to comprehend these highly sophisticated theories of life and science/physics cant follow, and its just 'easier' for them to believe in 'god' - (which is either a long haired bearded man (who aparently grew up in the desert...hmmm how many of them are there, white skinned I might add??) or an elephant with 8 arms coming out of him (Vishnu (Hindu god I believe?) or any other religion. So for the masses who just cant comprehend or even want to accept the cold harsh reality of our existence...c'est la vie...

And to answer the question with a direct answer. Nothing existed before the big bang...and nothing exists outside existence...

I think that, maybe, there are some things that the mind (intellect) can't understand. Things that can be experienced just by means of conscience. The Big Bang is as far back as we can go. Science says nothing about what (if anything) happened before that, because it is unable to "see" beyond that point in time. All we can do is guess.

Many religious persons would simply say that some god caused the big bang to occur; however, this is outside the realm of science and thus cannot be shown correct or incorrect. It relies solely on faith (which given the circumstances is fair enough - we physically can't know either way).

Some scientists hypothesise models in which the universe undergoes a Big Bang, and then a Big Crunch, and then starts again; in this case the universe simply repeats itself, and this action is caused by gravity and the other fundamental forces.

Others present the idea that the Big Bang was everything that existed and has done so forever, and then became unstable - by whatever mechanism - allowing the Big Bang occurred.

A natural scenario, that is not yet a scientific theory but is consistent with all current knowledge, explains the origin of our universe without the added hypothesis of supernatural creation:

By means of a random quantum fluctuation the universe 'tunnelled" from pure vacuum ("nothing") to what is called a false vacuum, a region of space that contains no matter or radiation but is not quite nothing. The space inside a bubble of false vacuum is curved, or warped, and a small amount of energy is stored in that curvature. This ostensible violation of energy conservation is allowed by the Heisenberg uncertainty principle for sufficiently small time intervals.

The bubble then inflated exponentially and its curvature energy transformed into matter and radiation. Inflation stopped and the more linear big bang expansion commenced.

Of course, this scenario is not yet established theory, but it does demonstrate that we can find answers to the ultimate question of the universe.

Was the big bang the first thing to ever happen?

In the current model of the universe the big bang was the 1st thing to happen in the universe since time itself was created in the big bang.

How does the Big Bang explain how the universe began?

Big bang created every thing in 8 Levels. level 1 to 4 of big bang are lesser than 1 second.

Is there any chance to occur the big bang without universe?

Our concept of the "big bang" has no explanation about how or why, but our hypothesis is that there was NOTHING before the Big Bang created the universe.

What is a result of the big bang?

The big bang began the expansion of spacetime with great rapidity. The Universe began with the Big Bang. In other words both space and time began at the big bang. The big bang started the Universe from the point t=0.

Does Big Bang have twitter accounts?

yes the thing which created the universe has a twitter account its called the big bang and it also has facebook account also called the big bang and a bebo account of the same name

What was the first event in the universe?

Scientists believe the "first event" in the Universe was the Big Bang. The Big Bang Theory attempts to explain how the universe was originally created.

What is the story of the big bang theory?

It is what created the universe

Why universe exists?

Because God created it (or perhaps ordered it to be created). If you want a more scientific explanation: the Universe as we know it was the result of the Big Bang. What came before the Big Bang - or the exact cause of the Big Bang - are currently unknown.

When did the Big Bang Begin?

actually the big bang is something I don't believe in I believe the universe was created by God

What is big bang theory?

the big bang theory is a cosmological model wich states that how was universe created and why it is expanding.

What are the theory's about the universe?

Well I do now one theory about the universe. It's the big bang theory. The big bang theory is a theory about how the universe was created.Scientist think that a big explosion created the universe.Scientist found lots of evidence that the big bang theory was true.
