Once a person has been elected or appointed to the Vice-Presidency, experience is no longer something to be considered. The person in the Office of Vice President becomes the President of the United States. Any concern about experience must be dealt with during the Presidential election or during the advice and consent phase, if a Vice-President is being appointed.
