CaSO4 + Pb(NO3)2 = Ca(NO3)2 + PbSO4

But since Pb is less reactive than Ca according to the reactivity series, Pb can not replace the Ca in CaSO4. Therefore, the reaction will not occur.

What is a balanced chemical equation why should the chemical equation be balanced?

A balanced chemical equation is when both the products and the reactants are balanced, or have the same number of atoms on each side of the equation. For example: 2H20 --> 2H2 + O2 This means there are 2 water molecules as the reactants (before reaction) and 4 hydrogen and 2 oxygen atoms as the products (after reaction). Technically the equation wouldn't work in real life if it weren't correctly balanced.

Which is a balanced chemical equation according to the law of conservation of mass?

a balanced chemical equation according to the law of conservation of mass is that equation in which both the products side atoms are equal to the reactants side atoms.BEfore and after the chemical reaction.

What is the balanced equation for the reaction between sodium and chlorine?

The balanced reaction between sodium and chlorine is as follows Na + Cl =>Na+ + Cl-. In this reaction, sodium loses an electron to sodium. Note that the products of this reaction are ions in the solid state.

What is the importance of coefficients in a balanced chemical equation?

Coefficients are imortant in a balanced chemical reaction, because it shows you how much of that chemical is reactanting, and also how much is being produce to form the products.

What is the balanced chemical equation for a reaction between titanium and HCl?

the balanced chemical equation for a reaction between titanium and HCl is given as.TI + 4 HCl = TICl4 + 2 H2The Reaction type is double displacement reaction. Its a balanced chemical equation.

Is the products of the reaction shown in a balanced chemical equation?

. A balanced equation is an equation for a chemical reaction in which the number of atoms for each element in the reaction and the total charge is the same for both the reactants and the products. In other words, the mass and the charge are balanced on both sides of the reaction.

What is an imperfectly balanced equation?

An equation for a chemical reaction in which the number of atoms for each element in the reaction and the total charge are not the same for both the reactants and the products. In other words, the mass and the charge are not balanced on both sides of the reaction. This is also called as a unbalanced equation.

What information are conveyed by a balanced chemical reaction why is it necessary to balanced a chemical equation?

A balanced chemical equation conveys the correct molar ratios of reactants and products in a reaction. Balancing a chemical equation upholds the Law of Conservation of Mass, which states that matter cannot be created or destroyed.
