turn yourself in and just say you need to take care of buisness.

Go to the city ( you have a warrant at and go to the clerks office and make a new court date. If you have a bench warrant witch you probably do they should recall the warrant then or they will take you in to custody right there and then. You might want to call the clerks office before you go down their. Some city's will let a friend go down and make a court date.

If there is an arrest warrant out for a person do you need a search warrant?

No. As the arrest warrant for a person is simply that in & of itself -- to arrest the person. There should not be a need for a search warrant unless the authorities wish to search through one's personal property.

When the police book you in after they arrest you without a warrant can they charge you with a crime before they get a warrant in the state of Texas?

A warrant is an order for an arrest issued by the court. But many arrests do not need a warrant. If you punch someone in the face, and police are called, you will be arrested without a warrant, and one will not be needed. If say, you failed to show up in court, then a warrant for your arrest will be issued, to alert all officers that you should be arrested on sight. So the warrant itself is not the thing 'allowing' you to be arrested.

A warrant is a judicial order for an arrest. If the warrant was still valid, the law enforcement officer has no choice but to make an arrest.

Can police come into your house without a physical arrest warrant in Ohio to arrest someone living there?

What does the questioner mean by having the "physical" arrest warrant? If it means that, even though there is an existing warrant, but they just don't happen to have it in their possession - for them to act on the knowledge that the warrant exists is still lawful. They do not need to have the actual warrant in their possession in order to act on it.As in most cases involving the law, the CIRCUMSTANCES of the situation dictate what law enforcement can, and should not do. For example; If the police are in 'fresh pursuit' of someone and they run into the house they CAN pursue and arrest the individual inside. If they knock on your door - you open it - and behind you, they see the wanted individual sitting in your living room, they can enter and effect the arrest.

Ask any California law enforcement officer. You should know that if you do have a warrant, he will probably arrest you on the spot.

What can you do if you disagree with the bench warrant?

Appear. A warrant is an order from the court for something to be done. A bench warrant is a order to any police officer (which they must obey) to arrest and deliver a specific person to the court. Going in on your own should cancel the warrant, and may let you avoid arrest.

Can an employer have you arrested if a bench warrant shows up on a background check?

An employer can enforce an arrest, but they should really inform Law Enforcement to arrest you.

Can the date of birth be wrong on a arrest warrant?

The date of birth should not be incorrect on an arrest warrant. A persons date of birth, social security number, and description are key pieces of information needed for an arrest warrant. However, if your social security number and description are correct, human-error on your date of birth may not totally squash an arrest warrant. I've seen warrants where a persons date of birth is 01/05/1970 and the warrant listed 05/01/1970, but the social security, and physical descriptions were dead on.

Can a cop take out a warrant on someone for stealing from your family or does the family member have to take the warrant out?

Search warrants or arrest warrants are issued by judges on the request of the police. If you (or your family) have been the victim of a crime, you should report it to the police. It will be their job to investigate and take appropriate measures, which may include arresting someone.
