Prayer won't stop the judgment and the return of Christ. This plan has been in the making for a very long time. And although prayer is essential for humans to keep in touch with the Heavenly Father it won't put the brakes on whats coming.
Praying assumes a god, and that it would do something to stop the event. "The end of the world" is going to happen somehow, regardless of what we do. All that we can ensure is that it is as long away in time as possible.
