Even though there is no scientific proof to that, some Buddhists say that the population of the world doesn't really increase because increasing human population means that the population of some other animal or thing is going down. The human being is seen to be one of the higher creatures on earth and therefore being good as a rock (whatever that means) is manifested in being reborn as a human.
But then the question is, if things become human because they led such good lives, why then are there still so many people who are set on nothing but bringing pain and sorrow on other people? I mean, if you are rewarded for doing something good, won't the nature of the being cause it to be a better being?
Yes
In a word reincarnation, Buddhism teaches that we are continually reborn into circumstances that we have created.
In Buddhism re-borth comes after death. Eventually if you become enlightened you have an option to not be reborn and lose the concept of self (attain Nirvana)
In Buddhism, an anagami is a non-returning person, who won't be reborn in the physical world before achieving nirvana.
Buddhism and Hinduism(they came from the same relgion Brahmen Hinduism).
There is no "who" (god or gods) deciding anything in Buddhism. Your own actions direct your path towards enlightenment:As far as your condition at rebirth there appear to be three factors at work:Your life quality (how god a person you were in this life)Your last thoughtsA wild cardThe last is hardest to explain - apparently good people periodically and randomly (to our understanding) get reborn to a worse, not better condition.
They believe in enlightenment that they will overcome sufferinfg and they also believe if they die its not the end of their live they get reborn again as something new.
I will explain him or her like this:nirvana is the place where people can't be reborn again and nirvana is the place where there is no sadness only forever happiness

The amount of black holes are increasing because the fact that stars are dying and being reborn each second.
Both branches of Buddhism agree on the basic teachings of the Buddha. However, the Mahayana believes that the Buddha had an additional body of teachings.More specifically, Theravada Buddhism teaches that the best way to help both others and oneself is to attain enlightenment and the end of rebirth. The Mahayana believes that it is better to continue to be reborn in order to lead others to enlightenment.
Buddhism believes in no god in particular, Hinduism believes in many. Hinduism believes that you are reincarnated (reborn) many times. Buddhism believes in reincarnation only until you reach nirvana (perfect peace). And Lastly, Hinduism uses the caste system, a social ranking of importance, while Buddhists believe that the caste system is unfair.
