from my experience, any cotton shrinks in the dryer. I have washed laundry for years, and I always buy a larger size tee cause i know it will shrink.
Wool is a very useful fabric. It is very warm and even retains warmth when damp. Being a natural fiber, it is hypoallergenic and surprisingly flame retardant. It can be shaped when tailoring clothes and also is relatively easy to sew. On the other hand, it can be itchy when in direct contact with skin, heavy, and can shrink when washed.
You can, but it is not recommended. The stain may redeposit on other clothes, or the hot water might make the stain set more strongly. If you rinse the blood out with cold water, then it can be safely washed with other clothes.
It depends on how they are processed. Regular (conventional) cotton t-shirts are washed with formaldehyde which affects shrinkage. For organic cotton tees, some do, some don't. I know that we pre-shrink ours only using hot water.
It depends what the logo is made of. If it's embroidered on or dyed, then the answer is no. If it's an iron-on type, then it shouldn't bleed or change colors.
i am asking this answer mad person
Nah, they're man-made material designed not to shrink.
linen will shrink A LOT!!! in the dryer, but i think it is fine getting wet and air drying
The reason why clothes shrink when we wash them is because we wash them in cold water. Try washing them in warm water and do not add to much fabric softener because it can also ruin your clothes.
It is a good idea but make sure the clothes are washable so they don't shrink!
Use hairspray, but if you have already washed it, it may not work
Some rayon will shrink when washed, and some types also bleed onto the clothes they are washed with. Be sure to check the washing instructions printed on the label of the garment. You can also minimize damage by putting the rayon into a mesh bag, then putting it into the washer.
Whether they are or not, you still should wash them if you can. If they aren't, that cleans them. If they already have been, they are even cleaner!
Wool socks, like all wool clothing will shrink when washed. However due to the blended wool it is unlikely that wool socks will shrink much.
Washed and ironed the clothes.
