If by "abscond" you mean 'flee' to avoid arrest, prosecution or sentenced punishment, then you are, in all likliehood, actually a 'fugitive from justice." All US states and possessions honor each other's requests for extradition.

What states will not extradite absconding California parolees back to California?

What state does Oregon not extradite class b felony warrants?

i believe all states can and will extradite... it seems to depend rather on whether the crime was violent or not, whether the warrant says extradite... it does cost the state money to bring someone back. All i can say is that if you are on a Native American reservation they cannot extradite you unless they have the cooperation of the reservation police.

If you have a warrant in Washington will Oregon send you back if you don't want to go?

Oregon and Washington, just like every other state in the United States have extradition agreements between them. This means that as long as there is not a more serious charge pending in Oregon, they will extradite to Washington State.

Will Marin county California extradite a person from Arizona for a petty theft?

County's don't extradite from other states, states extradite from other states. It can depend on how badly they want you back and whether or not your name appears on the interstate NCIC system as wanted.

Will New York extradite from Oregon for family court warrant?

It's unlikely that they would extradite you back to NY. HOWEVER - there are interstate compacts in effect in which the states honor each others family court/support judgments and awards. NY COULD notify OR if you are in child support arrears, THEN you would be subject to prosecution in OR.

Can Montana extradite someone back from Washington on a misdemeanor?

Yes they can very well extradite someone from back from Washington on misdemeanor. Additional Info: All US states and territories honor each other's requests for extradition - there are no 'safe-haven' states - it is impossible to say whether a particular state will choose to extradite you or not, there are simply too many variables. It may depend on the offense and the seriousness of it and/or how badly they want you returned - most states WILL extradite for felony offenses.

Will the state of Oregon extradite from the state of Utah on a misdemeanor warrant?

Realistically, in the budget crunch that all states are undergoing these days, they MAY not want to bother with bringing you back for a misdemeanor offense - HOWEVER - that being said - it cannot be 100% counted on to save you. All US states and territories honor each other's requests for extradition - there are no 'safe-haven' states - It is impossible to know with certainty whether a particular state will choose to extradite you for a particular offense, or not, there are simply too many variables. It may depend, in part, on the offense and the seriousness of it, and/or how badly they want you returned - most states WILL extradite for felony offenses.

If one was to flee Oregon on a misdemeanor probation can or will they extradite if name was to be ran and could it go against your drivers license?

If Oregon wants you back, they will get you back. Whether or not it affects your driver license would depend on the charge. It's rather a silly thing to 'flee'.

Will Nashville TN extradite a convicted felon from New Mexico if he is absconded?

Yup. If you abscond from felony probation they will have you shipped back via an extradition company like pts or transcor. Misdemeanors aren't worth their time and money though. I know because I've been extradited a few times back to Nashville
