binge eater
bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder where a person binge eats, then purges.
Anorexic--Starvation Bulimic--Throwing up everything you eat Binge eating- when you eat and eat and not feel full
The fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe you are not bulimic. Bulimic people will binge followed by purging. So to answer your question, yes they can eat.
How about... not binging?
Binge eaters do not necessarily throw up afterwards, however that may be an unintended consequence of eating a huge quantity. Bulimic's actually do try and make themselves throw up, and may do so after a normal sized meal rather than just after a period of binge eating.
A binge is in an "anorexic" tendency if the person later fasts, severly restricts, or excessively exercises for the next few days to "make up for" the calories eaten during that binge. A binge is in a "bulimic" tendency is the person later purges by vomiting or laxative abuse to rid their body of much of the food from the binge.
Binge eating is a brief period or bout of excessive eating.
It is called Binge Eating Disorder (BED).
