I'm also 5'8'' and 145. I'm in school for exercise physiology actually and there is no way you should be trying to loose 20 lbs. I just try to simply eat plenty of large salads, soups, and rarely ever have desert. If you eat well and work out (i do about 4 days at the gym) each week you'll be simply muscle mass and look just great and toned. Everyone will think that you look just as thin as if you lost the weight.
I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but if you are asking how many calories are in a pound, then the answer is 3,500 calories make one pound.
You should consume seven calories per pound to lose weight, so 1655 calories per day.
300,000 calories are in 300 kilo-calories.
1 pound: 3500 calories
One pound is 3500 calories. So 1/35th of a pound is 100 calories
You can't really convert between calories and pounds unless you are talking about fat. About 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat. So 208.8 calories = .06 pounds.
1 pound of body fat is equivalent to 3500 calories, so 20 calories is about .006 pounds - basically nothing.
3500 = 1 pound
One pound is 3500 calories. 3500 x 25 = 87500 calories
one pound is represented by 3,500 calories so yeah not even 1/10 of a pound
One pound = 3500 calories. Decreasing calories by 500 per day for a week = 3500 calories lost or 1 pound.
There are 3500 Calories in a pound of body fat.
