If your school has a counseling office they will give you the info. If not, hold on to your hat, because the high school counselors will be coming to your school this spring. They will be signing you up for freshman classes in the fall. As a freshman you won't have much in electives to choose from. I would suggest you concentrate on your solids next year. Many freshmen get into trouble the first year because they fail classes. When that happens you HAVE to make up the classes in summer school or the next year. Unless classes are passed you don't graduate. I see too many freshmen make this mistake.
Stephen should attend all his summer classes and look for a part-time job that allows him to work in the evenings. A+
Yes it is, most people take summer classes if they are short on credits or they need to accelerate. However, if this is regarding graduation, then there is no other option, but to do it sooner rather than later.
What time are your summer classes?
Get to work to make up the classes or go to summer school. You got yourself in this position and now it is time to "pay the piper" if you want to graduate.
Attend school and work after-school or evenings.
Summer programs for high school students are mainly for the students would did not do so well through out the year. Meaning they could take summer classes to catch up and in most case so they can graduate with their fellow classmates.
Unfortunately, summer classes can't always be avoided. Summer classes aren't so bad; you could have lots of fun! They tend to be more laid back than classes during the school year.
The maximum time allowed to graduate and be qualified for the bar exam is 5 years. This can vary from state to state. Full time it normally takes 3 years. It can be done in slightly less with a very heavy course load and summer classes.
