It's not a good idea to "ship" a dog anywhere. You should go pick up the dog from the shelter or wherever you are adopting from. The area where animals are kept on planes is small, dark, and uncomfortable. The cages slide around and another dog or cat (or your pet) isn't good with other animals, it could be dangerous. Try not to make you new dog experience these conditions. If you must, you should be able to buy a ticket for your dog if someone else can get them on the plane. I still suggest you either go pick him/her up or don't adopt out of state.
It really depends on where you live and where you're adopting from, and what your adopting ie: dog cat kid, rabbit
you can get another dog from adopting an abandon dog from the sanctuary but theres not always dogs that are abandoned there sometimes you have to wait mostly theres time after it you can adopt the dog! hope it helped :)
No you cant but you can foster a dog.Fostering is like adopting except you borrow a dog so it knows what its like to live in a home.Plus fostering gives you a feel of how its like to actually own a dog.

if by "they" you mean the people from the place you are adopting the dog, then it depends on where you adopt the dog. if you adopt through a rescue, they most likely will, but when you are adopting from a municipal, county, city etc. shelter, than chances are not likely - but then again, some do.
If you are looking at the cost of adopting a pet generally a cat is cheaper. The standard vaccinations and neutering is similar in cost. Good luck with your choice
When it comes to buying or adopting a dog, many people spend a little too much time focusing on the breed. What it really comes down to is the individual dog's personality. Terriers are known for being energetic, but some can be quite relaxed. Still, breed is a good guideline for what to expect of a dog in general. When adopting a mutt from a pound, it's a good idea to get some information on the dog's genetic makeup so you can plan accordingly.
Adopting an older dog can either be easier, or harder. They may also not meet your expectations. It can be easier if you are older, or are not as active. Older dogs tend be less active, therefore, need less playtime. It can be harder if the dog you adopt has or develops problems like diseases or if they become blind or deaf. They may not meet your expectations if you are looking for an active playmate that can play with children, or with yourself if you are very active. They also may not always be up for a jog with you or swimming in the lake. Adopting an older dog is great and gives them another chance, but you have to know what you sydney're getting into, as with any pet. pppeee
