Yes you will have the same allergic reaction. "Lortab" is a brand name for Hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is the active ingrediant in Vicodin, lortab, lorcet, and all the other name brands for the medication.. You are most likely allergic to hydrocodone if you are having and allergic reaction to vicodin. Unless you have never takin Tylenol before. If so, then it may be the acetaminophen you are allergic to. Hope this helps. I am in pharmacy school and work as a pharmacy tech. So this question comes up often in the pharmacy. BE CAREFUL opiate Allergies can have very severe reactions.
