Regardless of where your father was born, you are still a citizen and therefore have just as much right as anyone else.
no you have to be an American born citizen but Obama was born in Africa but both his parents were American born so he could still be president so if you are born to both American born parents yes if not then no
no, so barak obama doesnt need to be president!!
When my American cousin gave birth in Africa, her daughter was automatically an American citizen. No... that would make the baby an American citizen... but it won't allow a Jamaican mother to stay in America neccessarily! The infant is an American citizen and usually all that is needed is the official birth certificate so the parent(s) have proof that the infant is indeed theirs. It would be in the best interest of the parents to contact the American Embassy in Kingston at 929-4850 for assistance.
Not all african americans are black. It just means someone who was born in one but is a citizen of the other. For example, someone who was born in Africa but is now an american citizen would be an african american. I'm not sure what others would think about this, but I would suggest you could still be considered an african american if your parents/grandparents immigrated.
President Obama is 100% American and NOT an African-American at all. In order to be an African-American he (and any other person) would have to maintain a dual citizenship for both Africa and America. From Obama's own admission he was born in America and has NEVER been a citizen of any other country. Obama does however, maintain a personal heritage of both America and Africa...
Barack Obama's biological father was from Africa-- the country of Kenya; his mom was an American born in Kansas, who later moved to Hawaii, which is where the future president was born.
He was not an American president. He was prime minister of South Africa from 1958 to 1966.
Barack Obama is the first Africa-American president of the United States. He was elected for the first time in 2008 and re-elected in 2012.
his dad is from Eritrea in East Africa and his mother is African American.
If the person from South African is not an American Citizen then you will have to go to Immigration first. They will lead you through the red tape. Good luck Marcy yes he is ,hes not american citizen.ok i will do that
yes he is a canadian, he was awarded the order of canada which is the highest award for a canadian civilian
There is no president of Africa. Africa is a continent, not a country. It consists of many countries. none. There is no president of Africa.
