Did they actually arrest you or did they only 'detain' you for a few minutes? A temporary detention for legitimate police purposes is NOT an arrest. If they took you into custody you had to be booked at their station. The charges will be set forth in the booking document, which is a public record.
Huh? What did they charge you with when they got you to the police station?

You can't have anyone arrested, but if anyone, a brother-in-law or a total stranger, threatens to kill you, you can and should report that to the police if you think the threat is serious. Be sure to tell the police why you take the threat seriously. The police will investigate and may arrest the person making the threat.

If you have been arrested before they will check your finger prints and if you haven't then you might be arrested for perverting the course of justice. So it is better just to tell them your name.
Yes. If you are arrested by police, you are then in police custody. Custody can simply mean a few minutes in handcuffs, or days in jail, but during that time, the police are responsible for your health and welfare.
