I can understand how the widower's fiance wouldn't want constant photographic reminders of the man's wife, but I can also understand why a widower would want to display them, just as he probably displays pictures of other relatives. His wife was important to him and they had a history together. But unless he shows other signs that he's just not over her, I wouldn't worry about the photos. I say let the man have his memories.
